Cook Children’s Medical Center Initiatives

Brightening the lives of young patients is a cause close to our hearts. We support Cook Children’s
Wonderland, a cherished annual holiday event featuring festive treats, performances, a Santa visit, and
the lighting of the Christmas tree.

Additionally, we support the Fort Worth Delta Delta Delta Alumnae Chapter’s annual Cookies &
Castles gingerbread decorating extravaganza, a holiday tradition that directly benefits Cook Children’s
Medical Center and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship Fund.

Camp Fire: El Tesoro de la Vida Benefit Dinner

Childhood grief requires immense care and understanding. We sponsor Camp Fire’s El Tesoro de la
Vida Benefit Dinner, an initiative that funds a week-long grief camp for children who have lost loved
ones. This camp provides a supportive, accepting environment where young boys and girls can connect,
heal, play, and build resilience alongside peers who share similar journeys.
